Case Study 3:

Scaling Creative Systems At YellowBelly Photo

Supporting growth across teams, studios, and client experience

What helps a creative company grow without losing clarity, consistency, or care?

Overview

At YellowBelly, I work across customer communications, operational coordination, and audience-facing messaging for a rapidly growing international photography company. The role has given me a close view of how creative quality depends on strong systems, especially in organizations scaling across multiple studios and cities.

The Challenge

As the company expanded across London, New York, and Los Angeles, it needed strong connective tissue between teams, workflows, and the client experience. The challenge was not only to keep operations moving, but to help maintain a high standard of communication and care at scale.

My Role

End-t0-end customer communications | Cross-functional coordination (production, creative, sales) | Studio expansion support in Los Angeles | Social media & audience messaging support | Workflow understanding & process clarity

Outcome

I became a central communications point across the business, supporting thousands of clients annually while helping sustain a smooth, high-touch experience. This work has strengthened my ability to operate across creative and operational contexts simultaneously.

Why It Matters

This role reinforced that storytelling is not only what audiences see on the surface. It is also embedded in process, communication, consistency, and trust.
